Kayla Dolan, Manager of Policy and Strategy
Adamantine Energy
Kayla Dolan is the Manager of Policy and Strategy for Adamantine Energy. In her role, Kayla guides clients through the changing legislative, regulatory, and political environment to mitigate the unique risks facing each oil and gas company. By developing and supporting their environmental, social, and governance (ESG), decarbonization, and stakeholder navigation strategies, she supports Adamantine’s proactive and transformational work to future-proof companies against rising social risk. Prior to joining Adamantine, Kayla served in both the United States Senate and House of Representatives, focusing primarily on energy and environment issues. Kayla most recently served as Policy Advisor to Senator Bill Cassidy. She managed and led the Senator’s energy and environmental portfolio, advised the Senator during Congress’ unprecedented response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and helped to shape the Energy Act of 2020. Kayla’s efforts working alongside state regulators, project developers, and environmental non-governmental organizations helped identify legislative and regulatory roadblocks to the deployment of next generation energy technologies. This includes establishing the first natural gas carbon capture research, development, and demonstration program at the Department of Energy and modernizing the departments technology commercialization activities. Kayla holds a Bachelor of Arts from High Point University.
