Day 2, Where Are Regulations/Legislation Going?
Leah Martland is the supervisor for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Air Pollution Control Division, Regulatory Development and Assistance Unit. The Division regulates mobile sources, indoor air, and stationary sources. The Regulatory Development and Assistance Unit provides regulatory assistance and develops regulations to ensure that Colorado meets clean air goals and standards. Some of Leah’s more recent work relates to Colorado’s oil and gas rules establishing first of its kind methane requirements, Colorado’s transmission and storage performance based program, and Colorado’s 2008 8-hour ozone Moderate and Serious nonattainment area State Implementation Plans and underlying regulations.
