We keep statistics to track our contributions of time and capital, but in doing so we know that deeply personal stories stand behind all these numbers.  NJNG’s tradition of service to the community that goes far beyond customers’ energy needs, focusing on education, wellness, and the environment. We are proud to be part of our customers’ lives and the communities we serve, as reflected in the more than 5,400 hours devoted last year to community service, part of our overall financial and volunteer efforts benefitting more than 2500 organizations.

Volunteering in Our Neighborhoods

Employees and retirees work at the grassroots level to help strengthen the communities we serve, giving generously of their time through our Volunteers Inspiring Service in Our Neighborhoods (VISION) program and other initiatives. These programs give employees the opportunity to create change in fundamental ways.
