Day for Good

Spire’s “Day for Good” provides every employee with eight hours of paid time each year to volunteer in the community and support the causes they care about. Despite the pandemic-related challenges of 2020, Spire employees logged more than 5,000 volunteer hours across 80 community organizations.

As an example of that work, Spire’s support of Forest ReLeaf of Missouri planted 900 native trees across the Show Me State to provide environmental benefits, help residents save money and energy, and help recover the landscape after recent tornadoes. The trees will contribute to cleaning the air and water supply, supporting safe, walkable communities, and improving quality of life for residents and animals.
